The Bank Card is easy to obtain and easy to reload at any Western Union Bank location. Your passport or a current photo ID is enough to apply for the card.

For more information on service charges, please refer to section 3. “How much does the Bank Card cost?.” please be aware that Maestro prepaid cards require online authorization for security reasons. There is a minor group of out-of-date POS terminals on the market which may not provide such functionality yet and they are subject to ongoing replacement process.
