Agent locations may be located in supermarkets, grocery stores, check cashers, mailbox centers, drug stores, travel agencies, depots and other retailers that also include Western Union Bank. In some countries, they may be banks, travel agencies, post offices, currency exchange offices and airports, train and bus stations.

The following are accepted ID in Germany: Passport, ID card, preliminary ID cards, preliminary passports, diplomatic passport and government-issued international identification cards from any country within the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein

You can usually send any amount you wish up to the country specific legal limits. In Germany, the maximum amount that can be sent or received at Western Union Bank is €6.200 per transaction per day. However, for certain amounts and transfers you may have to provide additional information or documentation.

11. Does Western Union offer an escrow service or any kind of buyer protection for online auctions or other transactions?

14. How does Western Union pay out money transfers?
Generally, we pay your money transfer in cash but, in some cases, the payout may be made in the form of a money transfer check or payout card.
